REG has a long history of working with multi-disciplinary partners on issues related to chronic disease prevention and management, including work in the fields of diabetes, cancer, hypertension and wellness. REG uses mixed methods to collect quantitative and qualitative data to inform health communications, trainings, integrated planning and direct service programming. REG often works directly with stakeholders to collect data and interpret findings in order to provide clients with timely information to inform mid-point project improvements, maximize collaborative efforts, and increase community capacity to address and overcome barriers. REG's extensive experience in data interpretation and synthesis allows us to report meaningful findings to a wide variety of audiences.

Since 2002, the Research and Evaluation Group (REG) has provided external and independent assessment of programs, outreach activities and policies for a broad range of tobacco prevention and control programs and initiatives at the local, regional, and statewide level. REG uses primary and secondary data to assess program and policy impact, and along the way provides clients with real-time information and recommendations to inform decision-making, improve outcome monitoring, and educate policymakers and the public about activities, findings and progress. REG currently works in collaboration with community stakeholders, direct service providers, funding agencies, and local, state and federal government project staff on several tobacco-related evaluation and research projects in the areas of tobacco use prevention, cessation, clean air, and tobacco-related health disparities.
